A visiting ocean sunfish off North Beach offered beachgoers a glimpse of one of the ocean’s most unusual giants.
One of my favorite fish was spotted off North Beach this past week. The ocean sunfish (Mola mola) is one of the strangest fish; they have been around in the fossil record for over 50 million years!
