Astronomers around the globe are closely tracking a rare interstellar visitor: object 3I/ATLAS. First spotted in early July as it raced toward the Sun from deep space, it marks only the third interstellar body ever recorded, after ʻOumuamua in 2017 and Comet Borisov in 2019.
